What do you feel...

1. My first month of high school has been cool and it was exactly what i expected because it's fun and sometimes more than i expected.

2.Yes i feel that i can trust this school because all of the teachers have proven themselves to be trustworthy and i know that they actually care about us.

3.Yeah i guess they trust me because i've never done anything bad yet and i've done everything they've asked of me so they must trust me. well i think so.

Slash

Today i was getting ready to go inside Mr. Carr rooms and he saw the picture of Slash that's in my binder and finally a teacher (other than Mr. Hsu) knew who Slash is. He saw Slash two times more times than i have ever seen he also saw him back in the 90's when he was in Guns N' Roses and he also saw him again when he in Velvet Revolver. One of these days i'll see him live and get his autograph.

The 4 New Animo Inglewood Graduates

The article was about the four Animo Inglewood graduates who came from a very bad place in Inglewood. It also was about how messed up their life was inside and outside Animo. It all changed though when one of their friends,Delbert, got a bullet in his intestine. They graduated and now they are going into a 4 year university/college and have all moved in, into one apartment and are going to push theirselves to be the best they can be.

How my life is different from theirs

My life is different from theirs because i don't live in a bad neighborhood but i also don't live in a good one. It's okay and my parents would never let me out anywhere by myself unless i was with them or with my dog Rocky. They know enough about me to know that i'm not involved in any gangs or stuff. I also know that if i want to get ahead i have to do well in school, so i don't mess around and i take my school stuff seriously.

Path to college

What i can do to stay in the right path to college would be that i would never get involved in anything that i wouldn't like and i would always keep my goals in mind so i don't do anything stupid. What i learned was that i have to try my best to succeed and that everything will be fine.

Mana

What i''m really into right now other than Guns N' Roses is this spanish rock band called Mana. They were in hiatus for 4 yrs. but they came back better than ever with their new album called Amor es Combatir. My favorite song right now is "Labios Compartidos".

First week of school

1. What did you learn in the first week in my class?
I learned how to use macromedia flash, trust, etc...
2. What did you learn in the first week at Animo Venice?
I learned that Animo wants us to succeed and get into a four year university but also to get comfortable with them to talk about our issues with them and become a family with them.
3. How do you feel about high school at this point?
I'm actually looking forward to going to all my classes because all of my teachers seem really nice and here to help even when its not necessary and they're always here to lend a hand when you need it.
4. What do you need to do so you succeed in high school?
I need to try my best to succeed and if i need a hand i can ask the teachers for help because that's why they're here and i can return the favor when they need the help.
